Master-Slave Parallel Overview

Background When connecting the PHU power supplies in
parallel, up to 10 units can be used, and all units
must have the same output voltage for parallel
operation.

To use the power supplies in parallel, units must
be used in a “master-slave” configuration. In the
master-slave configuration a “master” power
supply controls any other connected “slave”
power supplies. In order for the master unit to
control the slave units, the master unit must use
the parallel control connector and
parallel/detecting port to control the slave units.

When using the parallel Control Connector, the
connector must be wired correctly between the
master and each of the slave units. (The following
image is for reference.)
